The most important trait of "Doctor Who" is that the show can always change. There is no rule, no canon so inviolate that it can't be ignored or ret-conned out of existence. If the show-runners feel committed to making a female Doctor, then great! It doesn't matter, because in a few years, everything can change again.

"Caves" is tops, no doubt. But let's remember, Four went out with yet another "universe in the balance" demise. Sure, there were no pyrotechnics, but that was more a function of budget than choice.

It's the DC universe, so one cop investigates every crime in the city. At least, that's how it works on "Arrow". Heck, Lance isn't even a detective anymore, and he's still investigating every crime in the city.

Wow, so, the preview box on the image and the actual selected portion of the image have no relationship. Now I know why I never use this feature.

Calling it now- mind control collars. And this character is looking suspiciously like a candidate for the Rani.

Janeway had the toughest voyage in concept, but in practice, it was pretty easy. There were no consequences to anything. What should have been a challenge- integrating a Starfleet and Maquis crew- was trivial. The only real challenges Janeway ever faced ("Year of Hell") were erased from the time-stream.

I had an idea like that once…

Fusco and Elias had the best moments of the show, hands down. They both get really perfect monologues, and both times, Simmons is the target of their speech. "We aren't civilized. We're something… older."

I can regale you with exceedingly obscure technical details about the NCC-1701D, and convert warp speeds into conventional measurements (in all of the different warp speed systems used). I have a Tom Baker scarf (which I wore to work today, because, y'know, winter). I met my wife in a LiveJournal based Star Trek RPG-

They'll have nothing on the Baker->Davison debate. Baker was such a defining Doctor for so many people, that Davison's more reserved and milquetoast version of the character really bothered people.

"The Mid-Afternoon Nap of the Doctor"

Nope. The only reason I know what they are is because of that one Mr. Bean short where he paints his room with them...

MIRAMANI!

"Mum" is one pronunciation of "ma'am".

I just really came for the fan service, and did they deliver. First, all thirteen Doctors working in concert? I just want to play the role call on loop forever. Then Tom Baker being his Tom Baker-y-ist?

Trenzalore… shit; I'm still only on Trenzalore… every time, I think I'm gonna wake up back on Gallifrey. When I was home, after the Time War, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing.

I got Tennant, which is terrible.

A shirtless Steven Amell rushes to the scene!

I think the most crippling form of writer's block is not having a purpose behind what you're writing. I write fictionalized stories for a website, and each time I sit down, I can go from idea-to-finished product (roughly 1,000 words) in about an hour, usually less. I have a clear and well defined purpose, I know when
