Well, the movie would be improved by orders of magnitude if he did. At the very least, he's much louder and angrier here than in his other roles.

I saw this movie back when Netflix still put interestingly terrible movies on streaming. The only worthwhile thing about it is Nicolas Cage. You spend every minute he's not onscreen asking 'Where's Nicolas Cage?'

This is an awful lot of energy to waste on a mostly well-reviewed sci-fi action comedy remake what happens to be starring ladies that has not even opened yet.

Yep, have to pretty much agree with everything here. He's pretty much always committed in his roles; obviously there are some exceptions like Next, Ghost Rider, or Left Behind. He's this great, weird force that can elevate any movie.

Gotta stop clinking those bottles together, man.
