I really, really wish this didn’t work only with the Windows store. I’ve been waiting for something like this for ages, and finally when they implement it it’s Windows Store only. Being a Steam fanboy myself, I’m peeved at this.

I took 2:43 to walk a 10K. GG WP

Lifehacker had earlier suggested Coolors for generating colour schemes which can also potentially be used for website schemes.

Actually apart from making it look more ‘Metro’ I don’t see what else needs to be done on the UI. It does exactly what it is expected to do, and the interface is simple enough. Could it be better? Yes. Does it need to be better? No.

With his monitors at different heights and sizes, spanning an image will look a lot more weird than duplicating the desktop.

I understand your points regarding Epic, but Valve isn’t creating SteamOS (not ValveOS) to have more control over their platform. SteamOS is nothing but a fancy Debian Linux distro. Valve doesn’t force any developer to provide support for SteamOS. The only reason they are doing it is to encourage more developers and

FWIW, if you want to use a slightly more robust system for sharing via anything other than Gmail, consider Pushbullet

I’m sure I’m in the minority here, but I never used Picasa for any photo organisation stuff. I only used Picasa for the Photo Viewer. CDProjektRed, the Polish company behind GOG, are also the developers for the Witcher series of games (most recently Witcher 3: Wild Hunt). If you have purchased any Witcher game on Steam, you can activate the game on GOG and have a permanent

The Chrome browser has a 35% market share. This is (going to be) default in all installations of Chrome. Those shady sites will have a reduction of this amount of traffic (assuming they are heavily used) which is a significant enough dent to change their behaviour.

I don’t know about Uplay, but you can set Steam to keep you offline when you sign in to Steam so it doesn’t let your friends know you’re online (nor you about them)

You know it’s a Ravenscraft article when the comments contain more poignant prose and add a lot more knowledge than the article content itself (which is good, don’t get me wrong)

I think Inkmonkey is suffering from a debilitating disease for which there is no cure - “Humanity”

In all likelihood as you said it was just a business motivated decision, or maybe they thought that they wanted to stop supporting multiple platforms so they could focus efforts on a single platform?

You have tasted the forbidden fruit!

Your email ID is linked to your Steam account. I believe there is a question in their FAQs that answers this (or at least it was there before the subscription YNAB). I don’t recollect the exact wording (and I can’t check it as I’m at work now) but in effect, once you purchase the Steam edition, you can use that key as
