Videostream installs a specific plugin to circumvent the firewall on systems for which this doesn’t work by default. I believe that on the Videostream UI too, you will see a button marked ‘Videostream not working? Click here’ or something to that effect. Try that out.

Play/Pause and Restart animated images should be default browser capabilities. We shouldn’t need extensions for this.

I‘m surprised Steam’s own ‘Broadcasts’ feature didn’t get a mention (or did I miss it?). It is a bit wonky now, agreed, but given the gaming juggernaut that is Steam, we would be hard pressed to ignore it.

They’re probably looking for people like us (in the know) to start using the browser and (hopefully) sing its praises. They’re going to get more press on the browser division through word of mouth than any marketing measures.

This is an area where I think TF2 really excels. There are games where I have walked out very irritated with myself and my team after we lose, but more often than not, we enjoy every game irrespective of what is the outcome.

A recent Chrome update has introduced Accounts for your browser. Depending on which Account is selected (the icon is to the top right, next to the Minimise, Maximise and Close buttons) the browser loads the appropriate bookmarks I believe.

I don’t mind them trying something like making it easy to donate to modders for their mods, using your Steam wallet funds.

Is Arkham Knight part of the canon for the Arkham series? Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman look different from their visual models in Arkham City.

Before this it was Bloodborne, and earlier Destiny. You obviously have to understand that this segment is going to cover the ‘flavour of the week’ so to speak. Since GTA V just got released on PC (which lets agree was what it was intended for all along) there are a lot of clips from GTA V. Next week we’ll be flooded…

I was a PixelVision fanboy before they stopped developing it. I then moved to Metro for Steam and never looked back, even though I was given a copy of Pressure. This, on the other hand may be worth a look.

Is it just me, or did anyone else think this article was about a LEGO game (you know, the ones made by Traveller’s Tales) about the Batman v Superman movie. The title originally conveyed that to me. Maybe it’s because I’ve started playing LEGO Marvel Super Heroes now.
