I played 40k for years, and yes the Event Horizon critically botched a Perils of the Warp check.

Just make this a prequel for the upcoming Warhammer 40K series coming out and you’ve got a guaranteed home run. I’m not a player (too much time and money on those figurines!) but I’m assured by my friends Event Horizon is the closest we’ve ever seen to what happens to unshielded humans traveling through “The Warp”.
