I’m here from the future to say: Jerk Off Motion

Glad to hear it. The funny thing about those books is that they essentially get better as they go along. The actual Song of the Lioness series, while being the best-known of the lot, is pretty sucky in comparison to The Immortals, which is really good, but it’s no Protector of the Small (the absolute peak of the

Tom Cruise has been a somewhat unusual casting choice.

That still leaves you back at being the pretentious douche who imagines they know more about film than Martin Scorsese.

I said “forefront of Star Wars”. Rose is a side character.

Rose is the result of white people plotting to prevent Finn from hooking up with Rey. They can’t suffer an interracial couple at the forefront of Star Wars. So Rey has to be linked with Kylo, and Rose is Finn’s consolation prize.

So thankfully, we can be sure that the author of the article - one person - gives a shit.

You’re as much of an “internet nobody” as he is, despite your valiant (and hopefully paid-for) defense of the artistry of Marvel movies. And when you grope for the “you’re just a nobody...and Barry Jenkins agrees with me!” appeal to authority, you wind up back where you started, because Martin Scorsese agrees with

All of them don’t involve killing the person - only hide and seek does. Others are just games - chess, old maid, etc.

keeping it authentic, giving it grounded sensibilities”

It’s very bizarre. When Brad Pitt finally lands, Space Command would surely have known he was coming for a while and be ready to retrieve him. They could absolutely have whisked him away somewhere and imprisoned him or just executed him for whatever military offenses he committed over the course of this movie.

“which never feels like a contradiction of Gray’s career-long aversion to pop psychology.”

You don’t need to ‘celebrate’ something to not condemn it. As I’ve already explained, the movie points out at least a couple of the men didn’t deserve what was coming to them. The rest did.

A lot of things in this show are kind of stupid, but Wendy out-of-nowhere dumping Kay for a barely comprehensible reason with a lot of unnecessarily hurtful phrasing, was really bad. At least if she’d said she was offended by Kay saying their relationship was ‘nothing important’ to her ex-husband, that could have been

I wish movies didn’t so often find it necessary to have people reconcile with their bad parents and represent this as a necessary healing step or a moment of growth. You can just sever your bad parents and forget about them, too. That’s an option!

She also released a statement saying she fully supports and endorses Woody Allen.

Did Dowd see Logan?

We do - it’s like seeing god.

I’ve examined that rationale and it holds up. The only time it doesn’t hold up is with that guy who wasn’t doing too well and whose company credit card got maxed out. The movie acknowledges that. We’re all good.
