Arkham Knight suffered from Rocksteady trying to do something BIGGER than City just because. The Batmobile was certainly different, but eh. And the storyline was a sprawling bunch of nonsense. Yes there was a lot to do, but it didn’t make cohesive sense.

Mechanically, Arkham Knight was the best of the series. My main gripes were the tank battles (I mean, fighting Deathstroke in a tank? Good to note, as most people probably never even seen a gameplay of it, is that Zero Wing is a horizontal scrolling shmup like R-Type. Never played it myself though.

I love the Chinese restaurant scene in A Christmas Story where it drops the pretense of shooting it straight and basically turning it into a contest of how hard they could break Dillon into laughter by not telling her what was going to unfold. Just watching her fits of hysterical laughter is a joy

When I worked for EBgames/Gamestop in the early 2000's that’s what my manager told me to do during training. In the event of a robbery I’m supposed to let them take what they want and press the silent alarm. 

It’s honestly a shame how poorly paid a lot of retail workers are who have to deal with shit like that meanwhile the executives are more interested in peddling NFT nonsense rather than making their stores a better place to work. Sorry to hear that happened to you and hopefully you’re doing better.
