Is it really that strange though? People sign up for jobs such as astronauts or other jobs with high risk in hopes of fulfilling their dreams of the future world. So is it odd that a person wants to see self driving cars become the norm willing to sign away his will for it?

Disagree. This law is fantastic. It shouldn’t just be a pull over for faster traffic rule. OK is ahead of the curve on this one.

Seeing people pulled over for failure to yield gives me more pleasure than most other enforcement on the roads. It’s not a merge! It’s not a stop sign! It’s in between! If there’s traffic coming, yield to it (that may just be a coincidence that the sign is called a yield sign - more research necessary).
