“The car, according to Blue Ribbon News, was donated to the Genesis Center by a local resident battling cancer:
Thanks for the info; I’ll have to check those guys out. We don’t have a big tuner scene here (yet), but I’m seeing more and more cars on CL with this kind of coating, so it might behoove me to take a look.
Now, after all of this, it is easy for me to get a little nostalgic, even for the 1992 Pontiac Bonneville. You could get it with a powerful supercharged 3.8 liter V6, it was roomy, and the ride and handling was not horrible. Much of what we long for today in new cars—size and comfort without pretentiousness—is here in…
Oral cancer. Plus it’s just gross.
I wonder if it is just me because i do smoke and enjoy, however weed edibles *do nothing* for me. Not the space cakes from Amsterdam, not the cookies friends made and warned me about to only eat half, not the weed lollipops from the dispensary. Nada! I would like to try to perfect some edibles that do something but i…
I love the color on mine, patriot blue, but i’ve got some clear coat burn, as well as some deep knicks and scratches. I clayed and detailed it last week and the paint feels much better, and looks pretty good too, but I’m sure repainting it is way too expensive. Was hoping a wrap might save me some cash compared to…
Standard hvlp is fine but you need a larger tip size for the base gallons, usually a 1.8 for base and 1.3 for gloss.
Does this require a special gun, or can I use my standard HVLP gun?
was probably typing it as you asked your question :-)
My argument is not with the looks, it is with the removal. Yes, a pro (which are few and far between) that applies it properly will result in a good looking vehicle, though as someone mentioned they always seem to look better in pics than in person.
Normal sized sedan, no jams or post paint corrections(cut/buff), this color in this product would run in the $2250-2750 range on average.
David Tracy, is that you?
I’m going to say it, the thing that people dare not speak. “The ToTD is not The Nurburgring. It is not and should not be used as, a race course or taken as a personal challenge to see how fast you can drive it”
What in the hell. Explain yourself. Please.
It was one of those scorching-hot May afternoons when the air conditioning might as well just give up, where a…
Logs?! Man alive, that is just something I wood knot do!
You’re wrong. It’s not the speed of the supercharger spinning that creates heat, it’s the compression of air. It’s basic thermodynamics - pressure and temperature are directly related (PV = nRT). Through the bypass valve the supercharger doesn’t compress the air as much.
It seems like we’re just playing Last Word now.
Dude, drag that thing to Moab and you’ll able to get it running again. There’s an entire shop/lift/tools waiting for you!
