I developed gynecomastia when I was 12 or so and it was hell on earth. People I thought were my best friends humiliated me publicly. They’d call me “ma’am” or “lady” and suggest I needed a training bra. We went to the doctor too and it was basically “you’ll grow out of it”. I hit the gym to develop my pecs in the hope…

• Nutritionist - While he was overweight, the particular condition for which he received liposuction was due to a hormone issue; a nutritionist could potentially have helped him lose weight (which, great!) but not address this particular problem.

The whole ‘published two books of poetry’ thing was really what did it for me. Like...there’s no way. Self-published, maybe. 

I had this same surgery my Sophomore year of High School. I was always sensitive about it but don’t recall ever bringing it up to anyone.

Somehow my parents knew, and I had the surgery. It really helped my self-esteem.

Why didn't they use that liposuction money for a nutritionist or hormone therapy or something? Lipo for titties seems super weird to me. 

Also, the skinniest figure skater? That seems... unlikely, given the EXTREMELY PUBLIC EATING DISORDER PROBLEM the sport has.
