I'll say the same thing I always say when people are talking about the 50 Shades books. I'm probably not the intended audience for this, so my criticisms of it don't really matter much.

I will say that there IS an inherently silly quality to the notion of Gotham City being attacked by an army of mobile, giant plants, so that particular concept wouldn't be totally out of place if you want to do your Batman movie on the campier end of the spectrum.
I don't know. Victor Fries' story is really so sad that I'm not sure how you construct a comedy, which Schumacher obviously wanted to do, around it. I mean, I suppose a really sophisticated writer could do so, but the blunt approach to the character, seeing Arnold hamming it up, and putting Nora on the backburner…
The main problem with Batman Forever, (and its direct sequel), was the selection of villains. There are three main types of Batman villain - the the close to conventional supervillain, the tragic villain, and the absolute maniac. Harvey Dent is pretty squarely in the middle of the 'tragic villain' category, while…
Not talking about this latest go around. I was talking about the choice between CNN and FOX when she was first starting. This time around was probably the first real time that she's been in a position of strength at the bargaining table. The first time around, she pretty much just had to weigh the two offers and…
Inherently worse. If Milo was just some yahoo shouting at clouds, it would be a different story. Leslie Jones tweets probably don't sent Leslie Jones fans wandering over to Milo's twitter feed to heap abuse on him. Milo brings a whole stampede of shit slingers with him when he decides to pop off.
Oh, I'm pretty indifferent to her one way or the other. But I also know the realities of the professional world of television news reporters. If you're moving up the chain like she was, you take that next job because it might be the last offer to move up you get. A lot of factors probably went into that decision…
I thought Rogue One was a very good movie about a particularly stupid plan that happened to end up succeeding. There are times when going in strong is the way to handle things and times when going in stealthy is the way to handle things. Going in strong to try to acquire the secret plans for the galactic empire's…
Most of the time, all episodes of GoT aren't available on demand. In fact, when I look at HBO on demand right now, they only have 2 episodes available each of seasons 1-4 and then the full seasons 5 and 6.
Does it stay true to the video game in that in the modern day, Fassbender has next to nothing to do and can seemingly only turn his head about 30 degrees in any given direction? And is the CGI of the modern world inexplicably much, much worse than when he goes back in time?
