So, TMI...but I was just reading the report from the pelvic exam I had last week (I went for a consult for a tubal ligation, but I was deemed a poor candidate), and the doctor says I have a tight hymen. Now, I know the hymen doesn’t just disappear when you lose your virginity, but what exactly does that mean in the

Well, excuuuuuse me. :)

I hate what he did to Jennie Garth, but I still love him in “After Jimmy.” Such a gut-wrenching movie.

I also have a cat who tested positive for FIP. She’s had some issues (she gets rodent ulcers frequently), but she’ll be 9 this September. We’re lucky she didn’t develop the active disease.

I always tell my cats I want them to outlive me.

If I had kids, I’d much prefer that. And, all of the money goes to the school, not 50 cents for each candy bar sold or whatever. I hated fundraisers as a kid because I lived in a rural area (the nearest neighbor was 1/10 of a mile away), so you couldn’t really sell door-to-door, my mom stayed home with us (so she

If you own a company, then I wish you the best of luck in your upcoming discrimination lawsuit!

I don’t think that’s a fair statement. For someone with late-stage cancer, sure, you might get a little more time. But it’s time filled with chemicals circulating through your body or spending time in the hospital after surgery. It’s not good time. I don’t think anyone who chooses to say “I’m not going to put myself

I feel the same way. I was very ill as a child, and knowing what I know about pain and loss of dignity, I totally support assisted suicide. When my husband’s grandmother was dying, she wanted to be DNR, but her daughters talked her out of it. She was nothing but a shell of a human. She couldn’t see, she couldn’t eat,

I had to Google how old he is, and I find it hilarious that Google displayed Jared Fogle’s pic/age right underneath Bill’s.

Brittany spaniel? I had one as a kid, and my brother had one for a few years.

There is just something about a GSD that makes me so happy. My husband’s dad has two of them; their mother was a state police dog, and their father was a DEA drug-sniffing dog, so they are HUGE and smart. They are also pure black, except for a tiny tuft of brown on one of their toes; that’s how we tell them apart.

I really hope she has federal loans, but I don’t know. Next time I talk to her, I’ll ask.

From your mouth to Flying Spaghetti Monster’s ears.

Oooh, not yet. I think I might have bought it for my Kindle, but I didn’t get around to reading it yet. I’m driving from NM to CA next week, though (well, my husband is doing the driving), so I’ll make sure I have it ready to read in the car!

Ugh, that sounds terrible. I am extremely lucky that my monthly payment is fairly low (around $150). My best friend is paying $700/month, and she can’t find a job in her field, so she’s doing tax prep at Liberty Tax for an extremely generous $8 per hour.

Had GWB not totally fucked up as president, he’d just be a cute little fella who paints cat portraits. I might like him then.

Make sense. I definitely didn’t know that it hadn’t been included in my consolidation. Why would I go through the trouble of consolidating, paying on time for TEN YEARS (the loan was from 1999; it was 2009 or 2010 when I got the legal papers), and let one loan sit there and fester?

Now that I re-read the article, I think I was wrong. It sounds like it was a federal loan with a private collector.

I think this was a loan from a private lender, not a government-backed loan.
