There is just something about a GSD that makes me so happy. My husband’s dad has two of them; their mother was a state police dog, and their father was a DEA drug-sniffing dog, so they are HUGE and smart. They are also pure black, except for a tiny tuft of brown on one of their toes; that’s how we tell them apart.

Make sense. I definitely didn’t know that it hadn’t been included in my consolidation. Why would I go through the trouble of consolidating, paying on time for TEN YEARS (the loan was from 1999; it was 2009 or 2010 when I got the legal papers), and let one loan sit there and fester?

Now that I re-read the article, I think I was wrong. It sounds like it was a federal loan with a private collector.

I think this was a loan from a private lender, not a government-backed loan.
