AFAIK, it doesn’t. However, ION has an SVU marathon every Saturday, and two of our other channels play random SVU episodes in the afternoons and evenings. Escape consists of six shows on weekdays: Forensic Files, Snapped, American Justice, LA Life on the Beat, Unsolved Mysteries, and the FBI Files. On weekends, they

I love true crime stuff, too. My husband says he’s afraid of me sometimes. It probably doesn’t help that I sit there and say things like, “What an idiot! Everybody knows you’re supposed to send threatening texts from a burner phone, not your own cell phone plan.”

I especially liked when she found out he was actually alive. We don’t have cable, but we have a digital antenna, so we get a few channels (Fox, NBC, Ion, CW, and like 10 religious channels). One day, I was flipping through the stations, and a new channel appeared: Escape. It is nothing but Snapped, Unsolved Mysteries,

I just saw a show about her the other day. I can’t remember if it was Snapped or American Justice, but it was pretty good!

Me too! I also have “I know my way around every hospital in a three-state radius, so I’d be happy to help you find Cardiology/Oncology/Room 406" face. Unfortunately, I have been in a lot of hospitals, so I usually do know my way around.

I like Judge Judy for the most part, but my opinion of her went down a notch when she told a defendant who received disability payments (paraphrasing here, because I don’t remember the exact wording) that she “wasn’t too disabled to lie on her back and get pregnant three times.” I thought that was crappy.

My high school was 9th to 12th grade, but some of the teams and extracurricular groups were so small that they allowed 7th and 8th graders to participate. For example, I started marching band at the high school in 7th grade, but I didn’t actually attend the high school until 9th grade.

Fortunately, they have a lot of support from people in their community. A lot of people have been chipping in to help with his expenses, and his wife earns a good salary. Their house is also paid off, so at least she doesn’t have to pay rent or a mortgage. His incarceration is costing them over $1,000 a month, though,

I asked my best friend to the senior prom. He said he couldn’t afford to rent a tux/limo or buy flowers or anything. I was okay with that. Next thing I know, he’s going to the prom with some girl he just met. He DID apologize, and we’re still friends to this day, but damn did it hurt at the time. A lot of Celine Dion

Yeah, that part sucked. Correctional facilities really do a shitty job with medical needs. A friend of mine is in jail right now. He has a bad back (I think from spinal stenosis), and they make him pay $5 per day to “rent” a cane from the commisary instead of just letting him buy one outright. He has to pay for all of

It sucked, but it wasn’t as terrible as it could have been. It was a county jail in Hicktown, USA, not Riker’s Island or anything. I was surprised by how nice most of the guards were. For example, they are technically supposed to strip search you every time you come in and out of the building (like if you go to court

I spent two days in jail for unpaid parking tickets. I mean, it’s no picnic, but it wasn’t that bad where I was (county jail with a women’s ward consisting of about 12 sets of bunk beds). The bathroom was walled off from the main room, although there were no stalls. The women just kind of agreed not to go in there

Ugh, that’s awful. Teaching is one of the most important jobs there is; teachers should be able to live comfortably.

I was gonna say, $3,500 per class seems good, but maybe not if you’re in an expensive city. Our local college pays $1,500 per class per semester.

Set up matching grants on Donors Choose. Although, do you have to spend ALL the money, or can you put some of it away? If you can put some away, I’d invest $4 million to create a recurring source of funds, and then I’d give the other $4 million away.

Has anybody here ever had a tubal ligation? I’m going for a consult in Feb. to discuss the possibility of having the surgery. I’ve had 16 other operations, so I’m sure I can get through the recovery, but is there anything in particular I should know?

Maybe someone tried to help and no one ever took the report seriously? I used to live in a duplex with thin walls, so I heard everything going on next door. I called the police twice, and CPS once, to report some of the things going on there (e.g. the mother’s boyfriend running around screaming “I’m going to cut your

I think I’m going to try Atlanta next. I only watched the first episode of NJ, and I actually thought it was kind of boring. Right now, I’m content with ogling Mauricio.

Every time I’m in the hospital, I inevitably end up annoyed with my husband. He’s healthy as a horse and has veins you can see from across the room. I’ve had like 17 operations and been in the ER 50+ times, and mine are so deep that they almost always have to call the IV team to start a line.

I’ve never heard of any of those, with the exception of Vanderpump Rules. I’m about six years behind the rest of society! I started watching RHONJ the other day, but I couldn’t get into it. I think I made a mistake starting the BH version first; NJ is shitty compared to BH.
