Serious question: is Facebook addiction a generational thing? I’m asking because I closed my account in 2016 after realizing it was more or less a platform designed to reveal which of your high school classmates were in fact white supremacists, not to mention their absolute blatant disregard for account security. I

I am genuinely saddened by the trouble you are describing, but the big picture is that Facebook is an evil, destructive force undermining human rights, democracy, the fight against coronavirus, and the fight against climate change. It can’t be that shocking to see people root for its destruction. That fact that it’s

Crazy that its still about 1,400 times bigger than super metroid. I still prefer the look of Super Metroid to this too.

It’s easier when you don’t have to deal with 4K textures and high-poly models to use in game. Quite impressive though.

I think you missed the obvious Evan Yu Yevon

Its a bit like the joke that Edge* was basically the thing you use on new pcs to download and install chrome.

My gripe with any Bethesda open world game is that they always design the world FIRST, then write stories in it afterwards (they’ve stated this multiple times).

I hear “Skyrim in space” and all I can think is that it’ll be interesting for the first few hours but then the drudgery will set in. You’ll realize that nothing you do really matters to the world or the plot. Characters will never grow or change. Combat will be horribly repetitive and predictable. And that, after the

This is just another example of a Western name seeming basic in English when it’s exotic in Japanese. Terra’s Japanese name is Tina, for example. And, FWIW, Jack is a homophone for the Japanese word 邪悪 (jaaku), which means “evil.”

I like that this article goes from “Bethesda is running a slave labor camp for their audio team” to a quick note at the end that a small indie studio recorded twice as many lines lol. There is more than enough fuckery in gaming that you don’t have to manufacture controversy. Bobby Kotick is still breathing.

Defo: finding fault before something happens is kinda derivative

There are too many sword characters, so it’s a good thing Sora has a key instead.

Wanna take a second run at that headline?

Cool so it’ll have as much dialogue as it’ll have bugs. Sweet

Philip M. Exdeath.

So, at 150k lines of dialogue, Starfield has about half the number of the awesome, yet very indie, gem Disco Elysium? I think it will be just fine. For a Bethesda game, at least.

Counterpoint: Jack, Jed, Ash and Neon all fit in the original game’s four character name limit. I’m willing to let it slide.

I’m not sure what this says about me, but when I woke up and saw this this morning, it kinda made me actually tear up a bit? I dunno. There’s just so much bad shit everywhere, and this industry in particular has been so shitty to so many people, that I guess it’s just really fucking nice to actually see something nice

“You have my sword.”
