The quote’s legit. Per the original article breaking the story, they were misspelled as “Crosby” in the lawsuit.

What’s on second.

Wasn’t it explicitly by a former Trump cabinet member? That she might have retrograde views on harassment or how to respond to them in public should be zero surprise to anyone. (And also, yes, why was she hired at all?)

I’m reminded of the whole Bret Hart “Montreal Screwjob” incident in the WWF where talent like Mick Foley wanted to walk out on the next night of television in protest, but guys like Kane couldn’t go along with it because after years of toiling in obscurity, he finally had a financially stable role in the company he

Why don’t they strap on their job helmets and squeeze down into a job cannon and fire off into job land, where jobs grow on jobbies?

I bet a lot of them *have* updated their resumes, and it wouldn’t surprise me if headhunters have been sending emails to various employees about other employment options.

That wouldn’t change anything.

To a strange extent, possibly. This is how places that aren’t unionized make themselves heard pretty much if they don’t have another outright legal means. And it’s happening all over the service industry right now.

I think he meant movie to video game and back to movie, full circle.

It doesn’t seem like it’d be difficult either. Geforce Experience already has game setting optimisers based on dozens of hardware configurations, no reason Valve couldn’t auto-apply (or on demand) settings based on their single config.

By default the device comes with SteamOS, but it’s basically a PC, so you can run any OS you want on it. So, yes you can run PC game pass games on it. PS Now is a streaming service, so that isn’t contingent on the hardware.

I hear popular Fortnite character John Wick is even getting his own movie! Although they’re getting Keanu Reeves to play him, I don’t know how I feel about that casting....

I’ve been playing games since Atari 2600, back when the video setup devices looked like this,

“I’m not a legal scholar”

We’re aware.

OK, hold on, I’m fine with holding him publicly accountable for what was happening under his watch and for people being upset that he didn’t do more to stop it (which he absolutely should have), but what law, exactly, did Mike Morhaime break that he belongs in prison? As far as I’m aware, there are no allegations he

Reading through the all the understandably cynical responses below, I feel like I’ve gained insight into why so many companies and people just pop out those sort of generic liability lawyer filtered non-apologies. Whenever those go out there are always the standard and valid critiques of it all. But there doesn’t

I mean, it's pretty obvious though right? Games made from passion are always better than whale-hunting games.

When else can you apologize except after something happens?

seems to me like they already admitted full responsibility. we are all learning about these incidents now and activision said “it’s all in the past”.  no shit? what a coincidence because that’s precisely when these victims allege those events happened.

“it’s all in the past”
