The speed up i assume doesnt work so well in this game because of the gf boost you need to mash a button to get full damage during the gf animations. 

Just wait until you gotta get through gfs full animation over and over again if you wanna get maximum damage by mashing square or what ever the switch equivalent is for the boost and having to use them no matter what if you want to get the most out of the game and the gf system. I dunno. 60 hr work weeks and children id say i dont have the time i once did to play. So much so that my brother, the only person i know who plays, is so much further ahead that it isnt worth it for him to tag a long with me. It aint all about instant gratification.
