That is true.

The main reason for a uniform in my son's school is largely so that there's less 'class' division. The poor children look the same as wealthy children in their basic clothes.

Of course, the wealthy children have fancier kit than the poor children, so there's still that.

I never rushed, because even back then, i saw it as far too conformist for me. I went to an all girls catholic school with a uniform and then another uniform.
