Doesn’t it seem more reasonable then that the murder was to cover up the leaking which was to cover up the hacking which was to cover up the other leaking? The daisy chain kind of breaks down if the murder was in retaliation.

I learned from some article (maybe the WaPo one?) that because the President has broad power to declassify information, this is actually not a crime. It’s a clusterfuck, but not a crime.
