I think if the AVC toploads its list with such weighty tomes of heavy art music, it will start off a huge "hipster critic" backlash. They'll have to break it up with something lighter.

I just saw them last night. Xiu Xiu was less noisy than I expected and more like Brechtian performance art, or something. Very cut-yourself old-school No Wave.
