I love Rhys Darby.

Yes, I can hear you Clem Fandango....

Admittedly, I’m pretty much shit posting. I think I’ve posted more today than I have in the entire time since A.V club went Kinja. I think the whole greys pending/approved system is silly to begin with.

She has a sort of otherworldly look that made her perfect for something like Morgan. She certainly has a nack for psychologically distressed characters.

Allowed? oh, golly gee, thanks for the permission sir.

Did I imply that’s what you were saying? I wasn’t looking for your permission to have an opinion. This is a discussion board, I’m having a discussion. I initially replied to your comment stating that Mr.Neeson HAS problematic ideas about black people. I stated that all the article shows is that he HAD these ideas in

I’m terribly exited for this. Loved the movie, love Matt Berry. It’s all good.

Nice! I’ve loved everything Edgar Wright has ever made going back to Spaced and Anya Taylor Joy has been absolutely crushing it the past couple of years. The Wich, Split and Thoroughbreds shows she has a nack for psychological horror. I’m pretty psyched for this.

He expressed regret and used the words horrible and awful to describe his past actions. To me, this clearly indicates that he knows his actions were wrong and that he is remorseful for his past behaviour. I see no reason to assume he still holds these views.

I’ve read about the Till case at length. These situations are not comparable.

Sure, but I’m not bitching about it. I rarely post on here. Just killing time on a slow day. I couldn’t care less if I’m grey or not

When did anyone say he’s deserving of applause?  He was expressing shame and regret for how he once acted. At what point is he looking for praise?

That’s okay, neither does Katie Rife

See. What. I. Did. There...?”   No, because your ramblings are almost entirely incoherent and you’re inserting imagined subtext that just is not there into every reply.

Never claimed to be sure about anything. But all this story demonstrates is that Mr. Neeson had problematic ideas at one time. You made the statement that he does, in the present hold those views. This seems unfair to me considering he’s obviously expressing regret.

You’re not special. Hate to break it to you.

It’s not that it’s hard to criticize his mentality at that time, it’s that it’s redundant and unnecessary. He obviously regrets and is ashamed of his past actions. No one is trying to justify his actions or asking you to.

Having worked on the set of Cold Pursuit (entitled “Hard powder” at the time) Liam did. appear to have fun driving the snow plow. The challenging bits were done by professional drivers, obviously.

What the fuck does a man in Irland in the 70’s reacting in a racially motivated way that he later regrets and no one was harmed have to do with an unrepented murder of a black teenager in Mississippi in 1955??! That’s a Mr.Fantastic level stretch.

HAD seriously problematic views on race.
