The Marvels was hardly great but it had kernels of good. Madame Web was nothing but shameless nods to material Sony doesn’t fully control and awful writing. The decision to make Sweeney and the others 14-16 year old little girls was really strange- someone on set clearly just wanted to see SS in a school girl outfit

He should have namechecked Rodney McKay

I love to compare the pre-release interviews with the post-release stuff when a movie bombs like this.  At one point she said she kept pushing to make the character more like the comic book version.  Then when the movie released, it strangely had adult women playing like 14-16 year old high school girls.  I’m sure she

This.  Its really easy to see some of the seemingly permanent changes that COVID has wrought.  Heck for that matter I still see a number of people masking- not sure they’ll ever stop at this point (which is fine by me- what do  I really care?)

I buy these at my local specialty high end grocery (that my wife constantly gripes about me going to but loves the chips) and have tried, I believe, every flavor.  Far superior to most supermarket chips

Its one of the best episodes of the season and series.  Snip Chang if truly necessary

last time i had their pad thai it was just gluey.  once upon a time this was really good fast casual dining.  reminds me a lot of what happened to Panera

Jesus how did I not see that?!  NCIS: Sheldon is probably in production as we speak.

my god why not include both?  Maybe they live as confirmed womanizing bachelors in his apartment building and come over for beers in the evening with Tim

each one a bigger POS than the last.  CBS is nothing but NCIS and Sheldon.  Its a true hellscape.  NBC is just Chicago shows and Law and Order shows.  Its beyond disgusting how far network TV has fallen

He was a St. Louisan as I recall.  He will be missed

Arnold’s first Conan movie was excellent in large part because he barely spoke

Wasn’t amazing but was not the dog people pretended it was.  Solid film that as you noted could easily be expanded upon.

Yeah I don’t get how the franchise was allowed to lapse. The RPG based on the series is good from Wyvern Games. But cancelling Universe after only 2 seasons was a mistake and then just not doing anything with it is weird.

a true mistake

don’t be ridiculous!

Sorta like Momoa? Ever seen him in Stargate Atlantis or Conan the Barbarian?

He definitely sounded like a poor man’s Soprano
