He is an inch shorter.
He is an inch shorter.
Jon Miller kept saying Harper threw the helmet to the side on purpose whereas the angle from the grassy knoll in center clearly shows the helmet slipped out of his hand, that boy was goin’ for a kill shot.
“I can’t believe he threw at him!”
that’s what I saw too...
That’s a clown comment bro
I have no horse in this fight ( I’m a Yankees fan ) so I say this with the utmost honesty and clarity.
I mean clearly Strickland is a pussy and deserves a suspension for being a little bitch.
Not very good at making jokes, so I’ll just put some hot take subjects and random observations in bullet-point form:
Buster Posey quietly backing into the bushes like Homer Simpson.
Looks like Strickland got a jab in, and the only thing that connected from Harper was a cross that Strickland mostly got out of the way from. Strickland’s been too much of a hot head for how much he’s worth to the Giants methinks.
Was Harper trying to throw the helmet at Strickland and it slipped or did he have a last second change of heart and throw it aside on purpose? Looks like it slipped in the closer slo-mo shot from centerfield.
C’mon guys. What reason would Boras have to be biased here?
What elite have done to get to where elite is.
Well, I’m pretty sure there’s only one way to find out whether he can be elite again: Pay him $200 million and see what happens.
The juice has done dried up.
Secretariat. Not even close.
I just looked up a home run from Bonds in 97 and he’s a twig...he was the greatest player of the steroids era, and only started taking them in 98. It’s a shame that his legacy will be tainted by that decision since prior to juicing he was still a hall of famer and one of the most dangerous hitters in baseball.
That may be true, but this incident took place BEFORE Bonds was on steroids - by the account in Game of Shadows, he started using after the 1998 season due to jealousy over the amount of attention McGwire and Sosa got that season.
I agree, but ‘98 was (supposedly) pre-’roids. The story goes that he was having dinner with Griffey Jr. after that season, complaining about all the attention given to McGwire and Sosa, and decided to juice.
Steroids-era Barry Bonds in the batter’s box was the most dominant thing I've ever seen in any sport.
