As a Blue Velvet fan I'm nonplussed by your comment.

I've watched the 4 episodes. Every episode I get more confused not less. I really need to watch the original series but I have a suspicion that will only help so much.

this is a show that turns stilted dialogue and bad special effects into virtues.

I have never liked one of their musical choices in an episode with the exception of that dramatic music they trot out every time they try to squeeze a tear out of people.

I've heard this rumor that suicidal people kill themselves because they are unhappy.

sometimes when they recount a traumatic story on this show it's really…wince inducing. Because it just sounds dumb the way the actors phrase it.

I used to love the show but then with the Lost finale I realized the show had just jerked me around for years. So as the years have gone by I've forgotten the enjoyment I used to get from the show.

I think everyone has the right to be selfish. And to Laurie's credit she has set this up to not look like a suicide…just a scuba accident.

I figured she spent several years being miserable and now she finally got her closure. The whole episode was her seeming more confident than she'd ever been. I think she made up her mind to kill herself a while back and it was a sense of comfort knowing her hell of a life was going to be over. She probably put it off…

When she invokes the missing husband and kids I feel bad for her. But when she's a dick to people…not so much.

My dumb belief is that the scientists device works and everyone who departed are on an alternate world where they were the ones who didn't depart and everyone who didn't depart in the real world departed on that one.

I think she should have waited until after the anniversary. Maybe some paradigm shifting world altering shit was coming down or maybe not. But I'd want to see it play out one way or the other.
