I feel like her not putting out probably reinforced his relationship laziness. Just saying.

Julian exists so these conversations can happen

I remember DC comics used to do it a lot. I remember an old Teen Titans storyline where the characters were just said to be in Africa…and there was like no attempt to narrow that down at all.

You say that but I totally remember a comic storyline where Barry finds out the guy who kidnapped his wife Iris was his buddy Jay.

I always like Jerry. He has the same name as my father, his favorite movie is Titanic like my mother and like my parents he knocked up his girlfriend in high school.

I think his mind can deal with supportive Norma or nagging Norma but happy Norma isn't someone he cared about. I think his Norma persona says a lot about how self absorbed he is. He can see her as a good mom or a bad mom but he can't see her as anything past her role as his mother. Her hopes and dreams never really

I liked it…I mean you know it's all going to crash and burn. But you can't make characters miserable if they're already miserable. You have to give them something nice before you take it all away.

I think it's reasonable that Dylan didn't tell Norman and Norma about Kate.

That sounds like something Dennis Reynolds would say

I guess we have a bit of Norma in all of us

Norman is left to raise his niece after he kills the rest of the family

Finally an excuse outside of Gravity Falls to use the word Gruncle

You can stand under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh

I think both Norma and Head Norma are overbearing but Head Norma is what Norman has reduced his mother to. The nuances about Norma that were separate from being his mother have fallen away and it's a very self serving interpretation of Norma that he's dreamed up. The parts about her life that he didn't care about that

so like is Jimmy Smit's character adopted…he looks too brown to be his parents biological son

I really watched the show for Norma…I know it was Norman's show but I never cared about Norman or Dylan's stories.

In 50 years they'll turn into Whatever Happened to Baby Jane with Alex feeding Kara dead rats.

Is Maggie Latino? I thought she was half black/half-white…but with really nice hair.

Jimmy reminds me of that Friends episode where Rachel tells Phoebe that "she lifts right out" of their group of friends because she's not dating anyone in the group, related to anyone and she lives far away.

apparently Vera has alien street creed
