@yelraf: Good argument, but they could have been quarried that way, but bigger... rounded, rolled, re-shaped and put in place... I'd imagine that quarrying out cylindrical pieces would be difficult even today.

Can I ask the obvious? These stones were shaped by some means (chisels maybe?). So who is to say that they didn't roll huge CYLINDRICAL stones there and flatten the edges on site?

@TVGenius: I thought it was neat walking up the dunes... what I had a problem with was sidewinder rattlesnakes.

When I was young (from west Texas) we used to go to the sand dunes on weekends and sled / surf down the dunes. It was crazy hot, but it's as close to actual sledding I've ever done.

I'd like to know where the funding for this came from. If there were ANY tax dollars used, these guys need to refund the damned money. My 5 y/o figured this out watching my in-laws cat drink, took him about 5 minutes... sheesh.

@Meghan: I read through some of the reviews. Most of the low reviews mention it's NOT multitasking capable (for obvious reasons, defeats the purpose... right?), thus you cannot use a GPS app... Sad for those of us who abandoned stand alone units to use our phones for navigation.
