I’d guess that the hull of the Queen Mary is every bit as tough as that of a Battleship. This isn’t a cruise ship that plods along through the tranquil Caribbean - it’s an Ocean liner, designed to withstand the worst that the North Atlantic could throw at her at any time of year.

It has been going on for some time, but this is good documentation of it. The big question is with all the exposure it gets does BaT drive the market? I think it does, just don’t know to what extent. I always think of myself as a buyer, not a seller, so this stuff doesn’t thrill me. Especially on the oddball stuff

lol, just imagine all the people in NJ with vinyl wraps that just get wrecked after the first couple fill-ups by “attendants” of that caliber. *shudder*

IMO, while the law was originally grounded in safety, the only reason it is still on the books is employment numbers. They are not safety-conscious seasoned

Hah, yeah, I was corrected earlier - I did mean ambiguous. I think the most important thing, really, is that until cars are smart enough to have some strong degree of situational awareness - probably not for a long time to come - they should not be attempting to drive like humans.

Or :

You say that like it’s a bad thing.

Heard that one was Iacocca’s idea, to give the car more presence. The T-Bird with a beak!

It’s what appeals to the customer. Many people today partially prefer SUV’s over cars because they are heavier.

I would rather see DRLs only work when the headlights are in Automatic mode. Mandating that tail lights are on when DRLs are on doesn’t help make it obvious that your headlights are off.

How about this, instead of continuing with bullshit DRLs we just make headlights always on with an auto-off circuit? If your car is

Here’s an idea - stop with this DRL BS and just use the freaking low beam lights and taillights that are already there are the DRL. Car in drive? lights are on. End of story.

No love for the MGA at all? The car that was originally designed as a Le Mans prototype and then turned into a road car? That made sportscars accessible in the US post-war, and made club racing popular?

Impressive carbon footprint.

2000 echo post hydroplaning into a Honda SUV at 40mph. No injuries and he drove it 30 miles to home. Amazingly didn't even break the radiator. And yes that's my droplight acting as a temporary headlight.

To be fair to the Echo it does have good brakes for it's size, airbags and proper seatbelts. Also 69 Charger please get a split master cylinder. Car shows don't hold that against you.

Is....is this you?

This guy erred WAY BEFORE he refused to use the roof rails, opening the sun roof and using the rear grab handles, re-tie the tree down or just tie them inside the car. Go back and watch the video again... This bonehead put a freshly cut tree right on top of the X5... no blanket, no roof rack, right on the damn paint.

I feel like this article doesn’t reflect the full picture.

The Biden administration fought in court in order to NOT to have to do this and lost.

*Shire cross. Shire is a draft breed, and a lot of folks like to cross-breed them to make big handsome mutts like Max.
