Nothing like the old swamp at Watkins Glen in the 1970s.

anyone?

Totally came here thinking Capaldi, Smith or Tennant had wrecked their car!! Don’t know about Jodie yet...

Pretty sure that’s a Lambo, dude.

FAKE NEWS TORCH! Everbody knows Doctor Who drives a London Police Box not an F40, can’t believe you got hoodwinked like that.

That smoldering wreck still looks better than the Stinger/Porsche/McLaren Franken-car that the article is about

Seems that someone should really vette these articles.

Problem is in 10 years it will have the cost of ownership of a 10 year old high end Audi.

10 years might be a bit too optimistic. But then again, if they sell enough of these things it might be a reality.

I’ll just add this non sequitur here.

As someone who drives a car in the real world and occasionally likes doing things, this “Touchscreen for everything” shit has got to go. Maybe you don’t need buttons for everything, but things like basic AC and music, at least a few dials and switches you can find and use by touch alone.

Dafuq you pronounce it?

I’m with you. My bride is precious cargo, and her vehicle needs to work every time. Any warning lights or niggling little faults are dealt with post haste. It’s just one of they ways I show her how important she is to me. When she has an accident I make sure she is OK first before I ask about the car.

This is good poundlopnik

Warning interesting/not interesting anecdote ahead:

Torch, my ‘71 Super Beetle had a bad starter solenoid, but rather than replace it I’d crawl underneath with a long screwdriver and jumper the motor. I did in fact run myself over more than once by forgetting to shift to neutral, and once nearly electrocuted myself while doing this in the rain and parked in a puddle.
