Well that’s just a little piece of awesome, Stef.

I think you’re referring (probably with tongue in cheek) to the recently enacted law that grants civil immunity to those who hit demonstrators, but they have to be blocking a “road’ or “highway.” https://www.orlandosentinel.com/politics/os-ne-desantis-signs-anti-riot-bill-20210419-iltp27x5mzcbheeqvyhclhz2xq-story.html

Why were the brake lights on?  The Venue did not want to go to a new venue.  But now the owner will need a new Venue to park at a different venue.

I hate the screen-centric controls for everything, for its distraction and lack of readability (both from glare or size, when you need to be wearing reading glasses or sunglasses). But theses systems will also not be updated as manufacturers don’t care about the usability of your older car. Look at the increasingly

And they would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren’t for that pesky Torch kid.

I would also recommend that if you rent a Lambo, you know ahead of time if the person who will be at the wheel with your life in their hands (not to mention, your life savings) is a “hold my beer” kind of guy or not. While the first reaction to someone doing a Cars & Coffee style crash or worse is often “play stupid

Easier to clean the grease off, it’s a performance mod.

In one episode Radar was found to be sending home a Jeep via mail—one part at a time. I think that qualifies him as David Tracy’s godfather.

For a Contour? Not even an SVT?  Seriously?

Car and Driver or maybe R&T nicknamed the optional wing on the Countach the “Hyundai wing” as it cost as much as a new Hyundai Excel (but was probably more reliable, even though it made the Lambo slower).

Carroll Shelby and Shelby American famously would charge to put back in the rear seat that they took out to make a GT350.

4th Gear: Well missed opportunity to not have the story about the Circle of Five being also 5th Gear (hi Tiff, et al.!), but I guess you could say the name is pitch perfect. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circle_of_fifths

How about “Life of Brians” then?

Lots of cars losing their front number plates,  I wonder how much of a hassle those are to replace.  A sign with a bunch of them on it from prior crossings might deter a few folks.

That’s an awesome story, and I would check it out if the opportunity arises. The cruise ships and cruise tours have certainly altered and in some cases ruined idyllic spots. One of the worst was a waterfall / swimming hole along the Hana Highway in Maui. In 1997 there were few cars and zero vans full of cruise ship

Ladies and gentlemen, Thomas Andrews in da house.

Representing the Jalopnik spirit by being the only one to rent a car! I think lots of people choose all-inclusive trips so they don’t have to pay any extra or think about planning beyond just booking the trip. I’d love to see the D.R., but there were a few disturbing stories from there in the recent past (well,

Look at you, with your reading comprehension and drawing conclusion from the facts and all. Showoff.

Mr. Brad Fitzpatrick, have your lawyers call their lawyers.

The chances of a two-Smart car collision in the U.S. at any speed are astronomical everywhere in the U.S. except Mercedes Streeter’s garage. So I think I’ll stick to looking at NHTSA’s testing from now on when I’m gauging safety.
