It’s been a while since I even looked at new cars/trucks (like never since I’ve only ever purchased old cars/trucks) but why the fuck does getting a bigger engine make me unable to buy a fullsize factory spare?

Well, my recent desire to spend $20k on a Harley Pan America has morphed into a desire to spend $20k on a Maverick...

Prius MPGs with more utility for less money? If you have a family of four and a budget of less than $25K, I don’t see how you buy anything else.

One person on Jalopnik who actually gets it! Two wheels BETTER!

I’ve been to Barber, and I’ve been to the Louvre.

Although Birmingham, AL is kind of out of the way for most people.

I’d certainly consider a Ridgeline, but not at what Honda’s fucking asking for it. That vehicle is easily $10K more than I’m willing to pay.

Much less a Ford. Much less one that has a significant mileage penalty.

Never buy the first production year of any vehicle.

Just wait until your 29 and 83/9ths.

Shit, I forgot to contribute to this!

Squid cars was the post that got me hooked on Jalopnik.

Model T F&F is probably the one that made me laugh the most, though.

As opposed to the sense of drama and occasion the normal Corolla gives?

I may be mistaken, but doesn’t it make little business sense to so much overlap between vehicle among one’s own brand?

The beauty of the Corolla in general is that it is a car that is boring, but in a good way. It is sensibly priced and it doesn’t give you drama. It’s for people who want to reliably get from point A to point B without a $400 72 month loan, and I can’t really fault someone for wanting that.

As long as this means the GR Corolla will still be coming here, they can sell as many as they want

Ah, but you see Nissan gave him a lot of money to build it.

My mechanic specializes in British marques. He’s also a client, so I’m in his office from time to time. Every time an Aston pulls up, he salivates. It’s not that he’s a rip off artist. It literally takes 11 man hours to remove the torque tube which is required to service the clutch. The clutch that has to be replaced

GS - Gettin’ Starbucks

You’re talking about an airport rental? I think I understand, letting them fill up at an exhorbitant in-house price being something I’ve done before, but I don’t see how it relates to Elizabeth’s description. How would that apply to multiple fills without returning the car, or is the whole point that she was

Seems like this would be an easy case to solve. Just fingerprint the left behind walkers and  look for a dentist splashing cash in the area on a new X-ray machine or something.

Can anybody explain this Icelandic gas-pricing thing, or the American version?
