I am glad you explained this. I was here thinking an 11 degree V is more of a cockeyed parallel twin.

Not interested in much from FCA, and certainly not used. I briefly thought about waiting on the new Bronco but a first-year Ford is an iffy proposition. I don’t want to wait until year 2 or 3 for my next vehicle.

Oh I know and I endlessly go back and forth. I want the opposite of the clapped-out heaps I have been driving the past few years. The LX seems more opposite than the GX.

I have an ‘86 that I love. But I want a nicer ‘going to town’ car.

Yes. But only a Toyota. I am currently shopping for early (2010ish) Lexus LX570.

The real challenge is mentally getting over ~$25k for the number of year and miles on the car.

Tell that to my Buell Ulysses.

All my motorcycles are toys now that I work from home full-time for forever...but this kind of reiterates that electric bikes are mostly still expensive playthings. Still want one, I think.

What are you riding at 118k miles? Beemer? i had a GS with 110k when I sold it.

I’m just upset NASA is distracting Papa Elon from getting me space tubes to replace the 1.5 Mbps DSL internet I have now. Priorities, dammit!

Nah. Indian makes a better machine and HD can’t compete. Flat Track is gaining a lot of popularity and is a good use of advertising money. But since Indian joined the mix they’ve been eating Harley’s lunch. They’re taking their old, decrepit ball and going home.

Came here to say this. Since it has already been said I fear I now lack any purpose.

Zero FX is as close as it gets...and I think the Alta would smoke it.

I was on the list for one. I really wish BRP would do anything with the IP they acquired from Alta.

I was happy Duc left the aluminum monocoque behind with the 1199 Panigale. Trying again, eh? Bummer.

Not like I am ever in the market for a new Ducati though.

I’ve lived with both. I prefer to not have to bother with the inspection...but I am also not going to drive something with a rusted out frame.

Why has no one asked about David’s relocation?!

Freeway trips aside, I’d be curious to know how much regen affects range when riding the roads you’d actually want to ride. If I were to dedicate a day to riding (and eating and maybe a beer) on the roads people travel to my area to ride, what’s the range then? And how is it affected by regenerative braking? And,

Needs more brass and leather straps for that.

827 pounds?

I don’t want to know a goddamned thing.

Hmm. So it is non-competitive with its intended market and looks vintage? Sounds to me like they’ll be selling it at their regular dealerships.

100%. Beemers usually hold decent value...except that godawful cruiser thing.
