I sincerely wished I shared your optimism for dying, however Diablo 3 doesn't reward trying something new like in Diablo 2 with skill points.. you can change your abilities anytime in d3, not requiring a fresh level 1 to level up. :(

I'm not comparing destiny to smash so much as I'm comparing smash being very popular and more recent in its release than destiny. Smash has lots of stuff going on be it tournies, articles on characters, created levels, etc. Just an example lol

I think the idea is you're training and playing with or against a player (amiibo) that you trained yourself. So while you dont have a real life person next to you, you DO have a competent partner you trained with yourself. Best option save having a friend playing with ya.
