At the time, Lucario was a premier pokemon for that generation AND a fightingtype to boot. it made "Sense" to me, and this is coming from a lucario/olimar player.

Yea poor lucarios defenses were garbage. so much so that hes a liability to even use. his typing doesnt help him either.

Not fond of the evolution name "Mega" just sounds overly used word to make things sound STRONGER!!! and cheapens it. i am however excited for a new lucario evolution! hopefully its stats(aka its def stats) wont be garbage. hell, its typing leaves it at a disadvantage most of the time.
