Daimante, Galant, regardless, it’s a sports car designed out of sedan platform to me, while the other three were designed from the ground up as a sports car. Not that a sedan platform cannot be made into a great sports car. I just feel there’s always compromises when you go about it that way.

Yup. It was definitely the least likable Japanese heavy weight from that era. In terms of design, it was like a Japanese Pontiac to me. Pointless scoops, vents and even plastic bulges added to remedy things like the strut towers poking out of the hood.
