The no tread is an obvious issue. But. What exactly is holding that rubber ‘tube’ from spinning on those ‘wheels’? There is no ridges or anything preventing it from slipping on the wheel as far as I can see. Is it relying on friction to prevent it from spinning on the wheel?

Now playing

Looks like a different continent but relevant to the topic at hand.

Would owners have a choice not to ‘fix’ their cars? I understand some don’t want to lose efficiency (still need to see what affect the ‘fix’ will have), but wouldn’t the Feds deem them illegal as they are spewing more pollutants?

Thank you very much for the heads up Patrick. I was unaware I could watch it online. I scratched my weekends plans in order to watch my first Goodwood Festival.

I’m always reminded of the 928 when I see the rear of a Panamera or the new AMG GT R. Still my fav ass from my childhood.

Guy living in said hot heat took his new cooking tool out while checking the mail the other day. Not bad. I would recommend trying to make jerky instead of actually trying to cook a steak.

I’m guessing Chinese. Why do we always generalize and say ‘Asian’?

Ahhhh, the quintessential guido car before they moved up to the 3 Series.

Some slept? Ha! Amateurs! All kidding aside, I would have liked to have been there with you guys. Would have loved standing at the side of Tertre Rouge though.

I wonder if the car was in his mother’s name for insurance purposes or of it was his mom’s car? Who’s ever it is, it’s impounded now.

Ex-New Yorker here who used to inspect cars many years ago. If memory serves me correct, if there is a crack anywhere where the wipers go over, (both left and right blades) the car cannot pass inspection.

I was getting annoyed at seeing the same comment about your hate for Toyota but it don’t bother me no more. I realized with the amount of effort you put in to complain about it every chance you get, Toyota must have a permanent spot inside that head of yours. Center stage and all!

Bernie believes not many people will be watching the Le Mans finish. Blah! I watched 23 hours of it, got mad as hell at how it ended, took a nap, woke up and watched the Baku race on fast forward on my DVR.

My dad driving a lap with his friend’s 928 around Fuji raceway with me in the backseat back in...1980 or so? I’ll never forget that. That and him letting me take out his 911's ever since I was in high school.

Nothing like tooting ones own horn with those “Well Done Baku” banners throughout the track.

I watched the entire race hoping for history in the making. I don’t think I screamed so loud in my life. Blood pressure 150/98. Just found my cat hiding under the dresser where she barely fits. I must have scared the hell out of her. Oh man. This is so cruel. So cruel.

I would imagine a nicer set of wheels and tires would go a long way. All that craftsmanship only for my eye’s to be drawn to those cheapo wagon wheels.

30 years?! Man I’m old. I went to see this movie on my very fist date.

Yup, seems about right.

Mind if I ask where your saying there is too many Japanese people? In Japan? In Australia?
