You missed the word initializing. That’s literally booting up the game once. Every time you boot, you initialize and cost a dev $0.2.

So I got through the two capital planets...and still haven’t found the world building, environmental storytelling, or writing. When does it start?

At the moment most of it seems to have been made by an LLM “AI”.

What did Cyberpunk do that Bethesda games don’t? Ah story and characters, right.

It’s weird how good the game could be.... and yet how sterile and boring it feels to play.

I really really want to enjoy it, but it just makes me play an actual RPG with a story, whether its BG3, or Mass Effect...or even Fallout.

So why didn’t they hire the hundreds of people and have them work a few years to add this feature?

Where? So far every city is sterile and empty. Lots of fetch quests. Lots of procedurally generated dialogue.

But even Bethesda games often had roleplaying alternatives.

Which is why all the recent great games had....glowing reviews?

They will let you “upgrade” your xCloud version for $35 I think, to get early access. Google Premium Edition Upgrade.

Except A) BG3 isn’t a giant open world RPG...it’s a lot of crossing tailored stories. B) BG3's inventory is fine, it could use filters and auto-sort features, but it’s not worse than many Bethesda games so....seems to be an odd item to zero in on. C) So far every review (Regardless of score) has agreed the game is

13 times, and maybe releases 10-13 will actually be finished and (somewhat) bug free.

89 based on literally 0 people being able to play it?

People paid to review games, who can and do lose livelihoods for a fair review of a game (Bethesda is notorious for black listing entire publications for even mild criticisms) are mostly aligned that its “just okay”.

So yeah, compared to the amount of hype, I’d call

It’s really best as the first run, especially since it gives you a parallel story to the Ilithid stuff.

Such as? Allowing them to release unplayable games for 10 years of remakes that to this day require “modding” (fan developed fixes) to play?

Also “announce stuff that’s true, not lie and then pretend people misunderstood what “explore the whole planet” means” isn’t a radical take?

Shouldn’t you make an update to the article that this was resolved already?

Still confused why him failing (that’s a failing of the game you’re meant to re-load and not do) is somehow considered “finishing the game”.

Considering D&D Cleric’s beat in heads and healing is an afterthought....

Path of Wallet 2 isn’t even a new game. Relax.

Enjoy the next 3 years of beta, while customers have to fix another Bethesda game.

The GOG version this time has DRM though. They block you from playing your own game through GeForce Now, which Steam does not block.

So if you want to stream your own game to another device...too bad.
