With the exception of the combat sports whose sole objective is to beat an opponent into submission, a sport that, played cleanly, leads to traumatic brain injury is a sport that could use some rejiggering.

“He was intended to be white: a white man leading a film set entirely in China, saving their country and culture through his heroic actions.”

There’s that.

The police say that witness account is contradicted by other witnesses. Other folks say that McKnight approached Gasser in his car who then shot from the driver’s seat. We’ll probably learn more about that discrepancy at the press conference.

Thanks for the advice. I took care it the moment I saw her. I think it was a relief for both of us.

There were few things more inevitable than Fox fucking up a PSU win beyond all recognition.

I made a terrible mistake yesterday telling a friend whose follow-up mammogram ct scan showed bad news that “everything will be okay.” She’s not stupid and knows that it’s not going to be okay. I wish I’d said something like “no matter what this is, this is a journey we’ll take together” or somesuch.

That’s the greatest thing I will see today...tomorrow...maybe forever.

TMZ is reporting that the shooter was released without charges. Color me unsurprised. Ever been to Terrytown?

It’s hard...yes, it most certainly is. Best of luck.

The problem seems to be that our own government, and my party, who acquired their legitimacy on the backs of people they’ve decided to throw to the wolves for a generation now, fundamentally misunderstand how and why this vast economic inequality came to be in the first place. All of these summits? They’re window

I’d recommend Thomas Frank’s Listen, Liberal for a rational, sound-minded critique of American Liberalism and the current state of the Democratic Party. It’ll make for uncomfortable reading for a lot of folks here.

I agree. It’s both an indictment of the paucity of vision in the industry and yet another demonstration of the Titanic genius of Jobs.

That was brilliant. Really top-notch stuff.

How many are they building?

Ah...thanks. I know this will likely fizzle out but I’m still excited by the possibility that something extraordinary is going on here. I hope we know something conclusive sooner rather than later.

I’d really like to see a test where they use a version of the drive that’s just a plain old cylinder like a soup can, not tapered like the EmDrive is. The claim is that the taper is what makes the thrust occur. In theory, a version of it without the taper wouldn’t produce any thrust.

Any suspicions why they didn’t do that to begin with?

THANK you!

I’m not sure exactly how that actually makes me part of the problem when I voted for Clinton last week, but I don’t want to complicate your narrative so I’ll just shuffle on off and leave you to whatever it is you’re doing here.
