Those poor, disenfranchised, denigrated and downtrodden white people. All the years of oppression and racism that they had to face. So sad. /sarcasm

I wouldn’t have cared if they kept their mouths shut about it but that was such a terrible response that now I am slightly perturbed lol diversity is great but some stories don’t inherently need it. I watched and enjoyed The Northman and never thought to myself “where are all the people of color?” because it made

I loved the Hercules animated film as a kid. Hearing that the live-action is inspired by Tik-Tok is...worrisome but the Russo’s have given us great stuff so I’ll have to wait and see what they really mean by that. Also, social media is mostly toxic. I hate that filmmakers are making stuff inspired by something I kinda

I did not like The Last Jedi (still, it had some great parts) but I love Rian Johnson’s other films. I think he’d make a great original story in that universe, which is what they should’ve let him do from the get-go.

Saloum should be on this list in my opinion. It is a strange movie and not really horror at all but it is very interesting, well acted and inventive in certain aspects. Loved it and will watch anything that the people who made it are involved in next.

that what we’ve watched was less of an actual season of television and more like a really long pilot”

My partner and I fell in love with this show when it came out. Loved the characters more than anything. Enjoyed the actors portrayals so much that I went and followed them all on social media (something I never do) because they were that good and I wanted to make sure I could check out whatever they were working on.

I heard they’re rebranding and renovating the spot but it still looks the same every time I’m down there lol

Definitely going to try and catch them when they come to Baltimore.

I finally saw it lol at least his death wasn’t overly mean or gratuitous. He honestly had one of the quicker, humane ones. I thought the ‘gator was going to get him that whole scene.

Loving the show, sad the season is going to be over. So excited to see more. Almost done my first read of The Silmarillion and a lot of the show still fits within the little bit of Tolkien I’ve read.

This is random but are you doing a follow up to The Velocity of Revolution by any chance? I really enjoyed it!

Brick is still one of my favorite Rian Johnson films. Knives Out is way better but Brick is such a cool little neo-noir movie. I remember loving it when it came out.

I really wanted to like this movie but remember thinking it was just “meh” afterwards. I need to give it another watch soon.

This was a much better episode than the last. Already in the back-half of the season and I still have so many questions. I hope it all comes together in the end. Really loving the show so far. Not perfect but my partner and I love Tolkien and have been loving this as well.

What’s been wrong with the season so far? Every episode has been great in me and my partners opinion.

hahaha

I saw this and was waiting for a punchline but it’s cool he’s serious. I think of it like the “producer” term for films. Sometimes that means someone who knows how to make films and comes on and adds their critique and professional experience to the project and other times it’s just someone who likes films and has

Guess I know what I’ll be watching on Shudder this weekend! Watched Saloum and it was fantastic, Glorious is so good as well. If you like horror, definitely get Shudder.

Give her something more to do! I feel like she has been way too underutilized. Her movie was her playing as a pretty blank person, but there was an actual story reason for that (Jude Law’s character trained her to be rather emotionless) but she needs to break out of that. I liked her movie and the character but she’s
