Yeah, I’d rather them give a reason for the price raises and make it more uniformed and clear what you’re paying for and why. As a consumer who wants to consume this stuff, it’s frustrating and feels like they’re just taking advantage. A couple bucks isn’t a big deal for most, but still.

That’s true about the demand and the matinee type of stuff.

I mean, they called it an “experiment” for a reason. They’re testing it out to see if it makes them more money. Looks like it will, so good for them. I love the theater and I never want them to go away so I support them when I can. But I think it’s kinda shady to do that in this weird pandemic time where some want to

I’ve had great theater experiences with movies I didn’t even want to see that weren’t even big-budget studio films. With that logic, they should have charged us more upon exiting the theater because we ended up liking it more. Or charged more for every showing after they realized people had a great time.

If they just wanted to raise prices in general, that would suck but prices for everything are going up so that’s to be expected.

I think it’s because they only do it for specific movies that they know a lot of people are going to go see. That is kinda shady, imo. If it was a price raise for admission to the theater in general, that would be different.

Definitely the type of thing I’d frame. In my college years, I would’ve just taped it to the wall, but I’m an adult, so I put stuff in frames now.

Those triangular nodes look like diamonds to me lol

I honestly enjoyed Beyond. It felt like a big-budget Star Trek episode made into a movie and I appreciated that. Still, it could’ve been a lot better. I wouldn’t mind them doing another, better, episodic styled movie like that instead of trying to connect everything all together.

Yeah, this looked either so bad it was good or just so bad that it shouldn’t exist. Still going to give it a shot, though.

My partner has read everything Tolkien and they are very excited. I am as well. Once I’m done the 9th book of The Expanse and the novella’s I will be jumping into the The Silmarillion.

This and the main suit might actually be my new top 2 suits in the MCU and the show isn’t even out yet lol. The costumes look really cool. Definitely going to use one for cosplay.

This kinda sucks lol I haven’t seen the second season of Luke Cage or The Punisher yet and idk if my partner and I are gonna be able to finish all that by March 1st. Hopefully it’ll be somewhere else on March 2nd.

it’ll be a movie, that’s for sure

My partner and I never watched Voyager but we started last year and we LOVE it. We’re TNG fans and that’s still our favorite, but Voyager has been so good. It works so well for the episodic content with the overall goal always being clear. It’s pretty close to TNG in both of our books, now.

Kudos for pulling out ALL the M’s for the headline.

That little trailer was cool but as a filmmaker I was just wondering how much time and money it took them to stop the filming of the actual films to shoot those little lines everyone was saying lol.

Idk, I’m someone who has been playing Halo since the first one and this looks really good imo. I see comments that the CGI looks bad but I think it looks really good for a show. Maybe on my big tv screen it will look worse but by then they will hopefully have done more passes to make it look even better than it

Still think Affleck was a great older Batman AND Bruce Wayne. Wish he got better material but I still enjoyed his take on it. Wish I could’ve seen his movie. He’s a pretty good director and I think it would’ve been interesting in the very least.

While I enjoyed Censor overall, I feel like it was a disappointment in the end (like, the actual end). The acting, look and sound were great but it just felt like a meh kind of ending. I’m all for ambiguity and leaving stuff up for interpretation, but sometimes when people try that it just feels like when you wrote a
