Maybe it’s just me, but this is how I wish more trailers were. Set the tone and give me a hint of what to expect but mostly leave me saying ‘”WTF” and wanting to see the actual film to figure out what’s going on.

District 9 is still easily his best film in my opinion, but this looks pretty amazing. I love that I have no real clue wtf is going on and I’m really intrigued and creeped out. Great trailer.

I feel like The Purge movies are just an excuse for some folks to design creepy/dumb looking mask.

This actually looks pretty good. Mostly because of Chiwetel Ejiofor and the ridiculous looking action. Hopefully not every incarnation of this person looked like Mark Wahlberg, because that would be kinda annoying. I just don’t like him much honestly, and I definitely don’t want to see what appears to be an Ancient…

I’d go for God of War first but they’re both great series. Don’t forget Uncharted: Last Legacy, too. Such a great, underrated spin-off of the series.

Well yeah, video game movies haven’t been great historically, thats a fact lol. I just don’t think seeing big name actors in a movie based on a game that millions have played would make a trash movie more bearable. Even many of the trash video game films of the past still did really well financially.

True, didn’t really think of that. I’m sure they could’ve found an athletic unknown actor though.

I really liked You’re Next and The Guest but Godzilla vs. Kong wasn’t that great imo. Hell, even Death Note, which I’ll admit was pretty bad, was at least more entertaining than GvK, and that’s saying something.

Pretty sure this is supposed to be a younger version of Nate, but not as young as those flashbacks in the games. But I do think someone else, probably a lesser known or completely unknown actor would’ve been a better choice.
