Ahhh nice. That sounds good too. I’m all for him doing more genre work.

Audience of two. I love these kind of movies as well. Even the bad ones, like Lords of the Deep, are still fun to me.

Yeah, he’s producing a new Saw as well as acting in it. Can’t think of the other thing though.

I figured that. It was on Xfinity on demand but then it disappeared when I was like halfway through the season. Been trying to find it online but haven’t had much luck.

Word. They’re also on Netflix now but I can’t find 1984 anywhere.

Nice, thanks!

Looks fun!

I enjoyed it. It was pretty cheesy and unoriginal but cheesy and unoriginal can still be fun and entertaining. I would definitely watch a sequel. I hope the next one is better, though.

I haven’t finished 1984 yet (it disappeared from xfinity on demand for some reason and I can’t find it anywhere) but it’s so damn good! I haven’t really watched the show since season 4 but this season is making me want to give the others a shot. It had some great twist that I wasn’t expecting and it really embraced

I’ve BEEN ready for this film since they first announced it. This does look fucking great indeed.

Man, as much as I love the force and Jedi’s, I was hoping the next Star Wars film(s) would be void of either. Just explore the universe. There’s so many possibilities outside of the Jedi and the Sith and the Force.

My partner and I just watched the first episode and I thought it was pretty entertaining!

I liked it. It felt like Star Wars more than The Last Jedi did in my opinion. A lot of my issues with the film (and there are a lot) seem to stem from the fact that they have to course correct after The Last Jedi. If that movie actually moved the plot and characters forward, I think we would’ve gotten a much tighter,

Honestly, I liked the movie but it definitely has a lot of problems. I feel like the majority of my problems with the movie, and the majority of your issues with the movie, stem from the fact that it feels like they’re doing course-correction and direct responses to The Last Jedi.

It was a lot going on, kinda messy but damn, I left the theater feeling that “Star Wars” feeling of happiness which I didn’t have after The Last Jedi. There was a lot to like, a lot that left me scratching my head, a lot that felt like course correction/direct responses to The Last Jedi but overall I enjoyed it!

He’s right! But doing the opposite is a mistake too, and that’s what he did with The Last Jedi. There were so many lines that really felt like they weren’t coming from the actual characters, but were him trying to tell the audience that “no, what you want isn’t actually what you want, this is better because it’s

I honestly don’t know what to expect, so that could be a good thing. We just re-watched TFA and TLJ and I still can’t get over the bad writing in TLJ but all I want is a good Star Wars movie. Hopefully this is at least that.

Yay!

Same. I wish it was more vibrant.

This. I’m all for new directions, but they should have just let Rian Johnson do his own original story after the conclusion of the skywalker saga. I tried defending TLJ after the first time I saw it in the theater, but the more I thought about it and re-watched it, the more it felt like Rian Johnson was just telling
