@minibeardeath: i went to school in Chico for a couple years and i know what you mean about 'Nor-Cal' vs 'So Cal', it could almost be two states but rather its just another great thing about California that i love.

@brendolonius: i never compared our situation to theirs. We do have a lot going for us but i also feel we have been lulled into a state of complacency where things that should matter more (ie-reasons we go to war, patriot act, two-party system) are put on the back burner.
