@pancakesfromNY: we have coyotes running through Vancouver all the time. they take off pretty quick when pesky humans start poking their noses around.
i agree with the mayor buuuuut most ppl (some happen to be parents) are stupid and lazy. in other words there is no right answer here but legislation is not the answer. education and awareness is likely the only option even though its effectiveness can be debated.
