The "tallywacker" scene in Porky's. Whenever I'm feeling down or having a bad day, it always picks me up and makes me laugh.

It's stories like this, the Boston bus desegregation riots in the 1970s, and the Ground Zero mosque controversy that always make me wince when I hear a bunch of progressives patting themselves on the back for being part of a "blue state" community, as if they're a bit more evolved than everyone else.

If I remember right, there's a comic where it involves a scene between Norman Osborn and Hank Pym that goes like this:

Absolutely agree. I've always loved the "stealing the Enterprise" portion, and the movie has so many great character moments.

Black Widow
Scarlet Witch
Maria Hill
Helen Cho (hot Korean scientist)
Laura (spoiler last name)

I thought this episode, and Kingpin's backstory, basically proved Fisk was right when he said him and Daredevil are a lot alike.

What I love about D’Onofrio's performance is there's a frustration and rage boiling that's terrifying, ready to be set off at any moment. But he plays it with such regret and it makes him sympathetic.

Let's see all of the near misses.

If I had to guess, he was probably wanted for the Bill Barreti role. But I don't know how you go from John Slattery to Judd Nelson.

It's odd, because I know Danny Strong has referenced Dynasty as an inspiration. But other than Cookie having a lot of similarities to Alexis (Joan Collins), I think the dynamics of the show have more in common with Dallas, but they've shifted some of the qualities around.

Petrov mentions President Clinton. So the timeline seems to mirror ours to at least the year 2000.

Didn't they do this in the 70s with giant rats and base it on the H.G. Wells novel The Food of the Gods?

Best thing North Korea has ever done. Thanks Kim Jong-un!

It's left a little vague in the press release, but I wonder whether the Spider-Man villains are shared as well in non-Spider-Man related properties. For example, could Sandman or Mysterio show up in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Or the symbiotes making an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy 2?

With each successive movie, Moore's tendency to think of himself as a comedian has made each of his films more and more irritating. In short, his shtick gets in the way of his point.

Che is a capitalist icon.

How is Johnson treated fairly?

I thought the episode offered an interesting contrast between Peter and Alicia by showing how they are different but also how they are very much alike.

After all was said and done, after hearing all 12 episodes, there's no way Adnan should be sitting in jail right now based on the evidence in this case. There's no fucking way someone should be serving a life-sentence based on no physical evidence and the constantly changing testimony of the prosecution's star witness.

Yes. By sending the first terminator through time Skynet both creates itself (sending the Terminator to Cyberdyne) and destroys itself (creating the circumstances of John Connor's birth).
