I personally don't care who runs someone else's country. Funny, we don't go screw with North Korea, even though we don't like who is running it.

And borrow more money from China to do so. Brilliant. Just leave and let them all kill each other. Better than American lives or treasure.
Who's going to attack them? Poland?
Terrorists? Don't believe the attacks on ISIS is about terrorism. Are our borders wide open to terrorists? Are we going to let thousands of totally unverifiable "refugees" into this country? Don't tell me the U.S. cares about terrorism. Actions speak louder than words. We are over there to intervene in Syria and Iraq.
We are being Imperialists. Is that any better? We run around the world like a big bully, only attacking small countries we can dispatch quickly. We never fire at anyone even half our size. Look at who we attack: Afghanistan, Libya, Serbia, Syria, Iraq. We have forgotten that George Washington's advice to stay out of…
It is long overdue to stop this policy of perpetual war. Not only do things rarely end as we planned (Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, etc.), it also leaves our military LESS prepared, should a major conflict break out. Not to mention that we continue to borrow to fight these wars. Someone will pay, now or later. The idea…
Show me one general who has stood up and told Congress or all who would listen that this perpetual war nonsense has got to stop. They all roll over because they have not the courage to tell the truth.
Yeah, Eisenhower was all of that. NOT. Attack the poster, not the content when you can't refute what is and has been the truth for decades.
The Connie is one of the few airliners that really appeals to the eye. Classic lines. Afraid we will never see an airliner that looks this good ever again.
Not to mention that the Iraqi Army, if you can call it an army, runs at the first couple of shots fired. Let them fight or let them be conquered.
Fair? Obama has spend 8 years blaming Bush for everything. The fact he didn't change it is his to own. Don't be me wrong; I'm not a Bush fan either, but it is long overdue that this clown in the White House take complete and total ownership of his OWN disastrous policies.
Iraq is not worth the life of even one Marine. Stop the perpetual war syndrome that seems to have the Beltway in its grip. We are always running around, looking for dragons to slay. If the Iraqis won't fight to save their own country, let it be divided. Not OUR problem. Remember, THEY asked us to leave. We are idiots…
Disagree on F-35. Single engine. Poor range. Tiny weapons bay. Poor stealth capability and need to hang weapons underwing. Poor dogfighting capability. Outrageous price. Air Force should have restarted F-22 line and ditched F-35.
Of interest is the fact that Congress made DoD buy considerably more C-17s than DoD wanted. That's one way to keep a production line artificially open longer.
Russians are going to test out as much of their hardware as they can in Syria. See what works or works well and correct what doesn't.
That said, why we have to expend lots of treasure to fight ISIS makes no sense either except in the context of our policy of perpetual war.
The Russians secured Syrian seaports for use by Russian ships as they have done in the past. That was probably their true mission. They backed up Assad enough so that he will likely survive with that part of Syria. ISIS was just an excuse.
Despite all the gruff, we are much more likely to encounter Chinese cruise missiles than Russian. Okay, that doesn’t fit the Second Cold War propaganda very well, but it is a much more plausible scenario. Lastly, I suspect these aerostats don't do well is bad weather. Anyone ever consider that?
Always loved the unusual design of the OV10 Bronco. Someone thinking a bit outside the box when they designed it.
And we managed to let the North Koreans/Chinese drag us right back to the status quo. How NOT to fight a war. Let's not win. Let's just get a lot of Americans killed in order to come back to the status quo. So now we have North Korea still to deal with. Thanks a lot, Truman. Brilliant.
