6.7 s is fast enough for me, and nearly 3 s faster than my DD, so I certainly call it "fast." IMO, it's a case of a luxury enjoyed twice becomes a necessity.

Why should we expect that then when they've yet to demonstrate it now? It seems perfectly reasonable to expect that the pace of innovation will increase and old devices/standards will be abandoned even more harshly (and supported more thinly) than they currently are.
Still sucks.
Yes, that weight is definitely too low. IIRC, Mazda said they were backing off their goal of 1000 kg. I expect it will end up around 2400 lb for the US market.
No.
Love Doug, hate kinja.
On the "if it's not broke" topic, remember that we've had half a century (or more) to optimize & perfect certain car controls, like the radio & AC. I don't fault anyone for trying to find a better mousetrap, but the odds are after all that evolution, any changes are going to make it worse.
Since you like fallacies so much, what's the fallacy associated with being an asshole? (Because, you know, your reply offers nothing of value other than to say "But, but, but—look at what I said!")
However, his comments about finance have been proven to be effective, and so he is a reliable source for how to build wealth.
It is a fact that what we don't see, we don't think about. Automatic deposits into savings and withholding for 401(k)s is money we don't see, so we don't think about spending it, which is why it is so effective.
"I also have this question. I think if I remember correctly, I was told to pay down your student loans asap as it'll have a big effect on your credit."
The trick to success is to make things simpler. Using voice commands to find an item hidden in the middle of a 3-deep menu (like telling it to play a certain song or call a certain person) can make sense. But using voice commands to adjust AC or anything else that can be done easily is backwards—it makes it more…
"until actual plant workers start talking, we may not entirely know the reasons for which the vote failed."
Still better than a flight I had into Cleveland. The winds were so bad that the plane was rolling so much I saw sky, runway, sky, runway, ..., and once we were on the ground, it was still being rocked. People were taken off in wheelchairs. I still haven't gotten back to normal on planes yet.
Everything's been catching fire lately.
I think the correct answer is anything that's a wagon with manual transmission in brown.
As per a conversation I had with a Mazda employee (corporate, not a dealership employee), MazdaSpeed is not dead, and while there is nothing official, we should expect a Speed3 in the near future. He also confirmed there absolutely IS such a thing as a SkyActiv-R engine (and no, not the 1-rotor range extender for an…
They also edited it to remove the moment when it hits the MB pulling into that parking spot.
I guess I don't understand. They sell a 3 series wagon. Do you want something different than that?
Doug, I think you miss an important point. Common sense & logic say that what these guys do is self destructive and harms themselves & the thing they love. But they do it anyway, despite everything around them telling them not to.
