In Austin (where they originated and where the HQ still is) friends of mine and I used to call them Whole Paycheck.
There was a Mexican food truck that used to park a few blocks from where I work that sold corn cups. Sometimes I’d go out and get one during my lunch break. SO good.
Corn belongs in a corn cup, not in the guac.
He’s pretty much always been horrible. Check the date.
Calm down, calm down. The point was the correlation between Scientology and crazy.
Sounds legit. Also he probably thought they didn’t need vaccines, just a little tiger blood. #winning
It doesn’t surprise me, honestly. Scientologists seem to dislike medical science as a general rule. See also:
While no scientific studies have clearly shown a link between vaccines and autism, I’m definitely seeing one between Scientology and anti-vaxxer lunacy.
Yeah, there was so much about the Ross/Demelza relationship in that first book that made me so uncomfortable reading it.
I had to look up examples. Victorians. Jeez.
We haven’t gotten that one over here yet, neither PBS or BBC America has plans to show it anytime soon as far as I know. I’d also heard some bad things about the production quality - sound and lighting issues, things like that. One review I read said the dialogue was at such a low volume it was often inaudible or…

Oh wow! I knew the numbers were going up pretty quickly, that’s amazing that it only took three hours to reach full funding.
If anyone would like to contribute to Bree Newsome’s bail fund, there’s an indiegogo campaign that is currently at 45% funding as of me writing this comment. It is set up by a legitimate organization if you have concerns about who’s collecting your money.
Right now that twitter account has the most current updates. It sounds like Bree and James (the man also arrested with her) are in good hands. They’re being represented by Todd Rutherford, the SC House Minority Leader.
