On Through the Night is fantastic. Their EP is stone cold end to end. No arguments here. WASTED!

As lord Bezos says, you just goofed, my dude. That first Angel Witch record is an all time underground classic. Witchfinder General put out great music, Venom started off incredible (Black Metal, In League, At War at LEAST), and Girlschool was good enough to impress Motorhead, which isn’t exactly faint praise.

In at least some small way, that is Def Leppard’s relationship to metal anymore.

They still came out of the same NWOBHM that birthed Saxon, Iron Maiden, Venom, Girlschool, Witchfinder General, or Angel Witch. Their first EP and On Through the Night are definitely metal. They became a hard rock band with Pyromania, but they were definitely a metal band at some point.

Well, the Leafs don’t really hate the Isles, but Isles fans, myself included, were no fans of them prior to JT jumping ship. Due in no small part to Darcy Tucker being peak Darcy Tucker, we weren’t really big fans of them, and Shawn Bates and a penalty show go to show it.

Bailing the Bruins out of cap hell, and letting Chia be his worst self with that Reinhart trade. And the Strome/Eberle trade. Chia really was everyone’s favorite crutch. To think we could have even seen a Hammer/Hall trade is even more insanity. Chia is worse than Garth ever was.

It’s impossible to not get that sense. Especially that chick with the two-tone lipstick. She’s a bit infamous on Isles Twitter just because she’s just so... extra? I can’t even explain it. About any person dumb enough to be an Isles fan is a DIEHARD fan, myself included, but at the end of the day, the JT saga is over.…

Big Isles fan here. This video is more shameful than any boomer could ever find the fisherman jersey (of which i own two). This is just the most pathetic crap I’ve ever seen, good god.

Agreed on both counts. He looks like he’s either out, or damn near it, once he gets hit with the elbow. The court finished the job, and he is god damned concussed. That’s a terrible, terrifying injury. 

There’s a couple of great episodes of The Dollop, the McCain and HW Bush episodes, that point a lot of this out. McCain was the proto-Trump much more than he was ever a decent human.

100% stand alone. Other little things are just winking references, but you don’t need other episodes. Black Mirror is like Twilight Zone or Night Gallery, every episode stands alone.

You guys re-evaluated two of, if not my two favorite movies this year. Sorry to Bother You is a brilliant lovechild of Terry Gilliam, Get Out, and They Live. I enjoyed it so thoroughly from beginning to end. When the twist hits, I was ON BOARD. I wanted to take as many people as possible to see this movie.

Carter will have his AHL coach, Scott “Overspeed” Gordon to bark at him. The rest of the season is going to be strange for the Flyers. Gritty captured our hearts, but not much else about the team is inspiring. They have talent, but they just don’t have enough of it, especially in the crease.
