I don’t want to live in a future where my car is afraid to help me run “stuff” over.

Just start with “Remember that big toyota recall?” Then follow with the history of people not being able to drive Audis that one time forever ago. And close with that video of the idiot shorting out the gas pedal in a rewired Avalon.
Accelerating onto the freeway is basically like playing DDR in my car. First gear, off the clutch, WOT, wait for the score to climb, off the gas, slam in the clutch, 2nd gear, off the clutch, 100% throttle application, when it gets past 6k I get to do the whole dance again. It’s a lot of fun you should try it some…
WAIT! GUYS, what if there was a third pedal that could disconnect the engine from the rest of the drive train in instances when it was spinning to fast for current conditions?
Saw a red one yesterday and that was the only thing I could think about.
It’s obnoxious to hear people say “Just buy a Tesla, it drives itself!” The tech isn’t even there yet. Also as an individual who likes to think they know things I feel most people would be terrified to find out that any phone could explode not just the note 7.
I have an e90 with a stick. The last time I had it serviced I had a sport trim f30 and it was never in the right gear. Neither normal or comfort or eco pro whatever were anything but mind numbinly boring. Then when I went near the sport settings the computer basically abused the poor little turbo four to keep that…
I would say try the automatic in a Mazda or Toyota. They seem to be the only two brands who have taken the time to tune their systems to be decent. All the others that I have used always bug me for one reason or another. Hyundai and BMW have been the most offensive.
It turned into one of the ticket machines and has been scamming people since.
Now it looks bloated and uncomfortable.
I would suggest a Honda Insight. It was one of the first hybrids on the market and available with a manual. With a bit of work it’s not hard to maintain the battery and add an auxiliary charger to make it a plugin of sorts. If I had to have a hybrid it would probably be that. Or it’s spiritual successor the crz.
Neutral: Anything Mazda puts out, I’m down. The only mainstream manufacturer that has whole line Jalop approval. I had the hardest of hardons for the new Volvos but then car and driver complained about the rigidity of their new big sedan, and I couldn’t maintain my enthusiasm. In addition they are sharing this…
I have to support both of these. Toyota is trying to prove that they can do better then “Grounded to the ground.” It’s sad when I’m more excited for the Toyota version of the larger coup than I am the BMW one.
This is magical.
In the article it said that the fed doesn’t seem to mind them but some states might.
Even the Infinity still has a backup mechanical linkage just in case. There is no car on the road today that doesn’t have the steering wheel directly connected to the wheels.
I found the steering in the fifth gen to be dead, slow and a bit light. But to each their own.
Yes, I agree with you. But why did they make up the caffeine charge instead of just giving him a ticket for reckless driving?
