Body one frame, v8, comfy suspension, and fancy interior, how is that not an Eldorado? But as far as litterally everything but the suspension, badges and some body panels the Escalade is a Silverado.

But the IS350 is a dedicated RWD sports sedan that only shares parts with other RWD Lexus products. The “Porsche” its being compared against is a lifted Golf.

Here are some badges on terrible products.

Maybe a little. I thought the platform was fairly balanced. But I didn’t really get to take it on any twisties or slide it around.

I’d have to agree. The short fingered vulgarian did this on purpose to piss off china and expand his brand.

I drove a newer one with the turbo and track package. The steering was weird, it had ok weight and the direction of the car changed when the wheel was turned but the feel was really weird. The interior wasn’t great but I liked it more than the Camaro. The engine, short shift manual and suspension were great though.

That would be fun on the dunes. Like a roller coaster.

I feel like with car platform sharing you could record for a few cars and have most things covered. All the Teslas that aren’t a lotus are the same car. Most of the cars Toyota sell are the Camry with various fat suits. Everything GM makes is truck based (or at least drives like it). I’m assuming that BMW is working

...goes the planned parenthood?

So if they put the focus st motor in it?

It allows the display to be high on the dash closer to the drivers line of sight. Also it means that the center stack can be smaller without having to make room for the display inside the dash.

I think BMW is doing the engine. The platform is shared I think they are going to share some of the underpinnings with the next z car. The styling of this car and the interior are probably going to be all Toyota.

Looks better with all the plastic on it.

How about if bmw camo wrapped an e90 and sent it around the ring a few times.

The design is classic. While it was panned initially it has become widely loved and is still being mimicked by Samsung and Hauwei today.

I would say that it isn’t. Right now I trust Toyota to build a car with better steering feel and chassis feel than BMW. Also I would rather have a Toyota sports car with a BMW motor than nothing.

This car is the other way around. The engine is BMW with the body and handling done by Toyota. The 86 is sort of the other way around with the body and handling figured out by subaru and the drive train was mostly Toyota.

Why not both?

The taco has better steering feel and interior quality. Also its easier to park.
