Your missing the tech that this bike is missing. The other 1000cc or so bikes have things like cruise control and variable traction control systems for different conditions. Also my dad seems to be a fan of the ability to change the throttle response on his tiger 800 xcx.

I test drove the 2.0 turbo ats and loved driving it to bits, totally justified me wanting to firebomb the BMW dealer after driving the f30. But that center stack looks and feels so cheap, it doesn’t help that the BMW and Benz also have creaky plastic dashes and yet are consistently rated better then the ATS.

I would hope that it would be as easy as unplugging the rack from the rest of the car but then you might also loose things like stability control and abs as the car wouldn’t know what the steering angle is. So maybe doing something to just disable the assist motor and not the other sensors in steering.

That’s the most adorable thing ever. But I live in Phoenix and would probably have to be scraped out of a F150’s grill in the first week.

E90 3.35i with about 300 hp will do it in under 5 sec. My truck with 380 will do it under 7 but it weights nearly 3 tons.

I’m a bit conflicted about this, part of me is cringing at the destruction of cars and the other part of me is glad to see F30’s getting destroyed. Their steering is as dead as their souls, and BMW needs to be stopped.

I would like to know both of those things.

The Grand Cherokee tows 7,200lbs, not as much as the Touareg but close.
